pub struct ErrorSubscriber<C, F = DefaultFields> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A subscriber that enables capturing SpanTraces.

Optionally, this type may be constructed with a field formatter to use when formatting the fields of each span in a trace. When no formatter is provided, the default format is used instead.

Implementations§

source§

impl<C, F> ErrorSubscriber<C, F>
where F: for<'writer> FormatFields<'writer> + 'static, C: Collect + for<'span> LookupSpan<'span>,

source

pub fn new(format: F) -> Self

Returns a new ErrorSubscriber with the provided field formatter.

source§

fn on_follows_from(&self, _span: &Id, _follows: &Id, _ctx: Context<'_, C>)

source§

fn event_enabled(&self, _event: &Event<'_>, _ctx: Context<'_, C>) -> bool

Called before on_event, to determine if on_event should be called.
source§

fn on_event(&self, _event: &Event<'_>, _ctx: Context<'_, C>)

source§

fn on_enter(&self, _id: &Id, _ctx: Context<'_, C>)

source§

fn on_id_change(&self, _old: &Id, _new: &Id, _ctx: Context<'_, C>)

Notifies this subscriber that a span ID has been cloned, and that the subscriber returned a different ID.
source§

fn and_then<S>(self, subscriber: S) -> Layered<S, Self, C>
